I used to LOVE this app — I LOVE all the different features and the guided devotional to a deeper dive and prayers. One of my favorites was listening to the “Walk with God” for my morning walks, and meditations before bedtime. There’s even a community center to share your thoughts with real people which is awesome. Seeing my faith tree grow was a fun motivation to stay consistent and I thought I had found a gold mine with this app;
That’s until one update, the voiceover intros changed, the whole aesthetic of the app became dull and I no longer could access the Faith essentials without purchasing a subscription. It’s like all of a sudden I had to pay for a connection to God. Although I would love to have a subscription it’s not something I can consistently pay for which is a bummer. I can’t even listen to the devotional during my morning, everything is so much more limited than before it was decided everyone should pay for the whole app.
Overall it’s a great app, there’s so much thought and intention behind all its features, I just think at one point it became more about a profit than making the gospel accessible. doves.p
